More about the June 30th Mariners Game
Back on July 18, 1998, the Seattle Mariners came up with a promotion called ‘Turn Ahead the Clock Night,’ which was a fun way of seeing what the game might look like in the future.
Well, 20 years later, the Mariners are bringing the promotion back.
Turning it back to when we turned it ahead.

Just like they did two decades ago, they’ll be playing the Kansas City Royals, this time on Saturday, June 30. Major League Baseball did a league-wide promotion in 14 games during the 1999 season. Who knows, maybe other teams will give us a throwback and do something similar.
The Mariners and Royals haven’t unveiled what the uniforms will look, but I’m sure the uniforms will have a futuristic flair just like they did the first time around.
